The victims have been identified as Prem Singh, aged between 45 and 50, his wife Rajani, aged 40 to 45, and their son Ritik, who was 24 years old. Their remains were found late Wednesday, prompting the police to send a forensic team to the location for examination.
During the initial investigation, it was noted that another family member, Siddharth, the couple's younger son, approximately 22 to 23 years old, was missing. Neighbors informed the police that Siddharth had been receiving psychiatric treatment. Reports indicate that he allegedly confessed to someone about the murders and expressed a desire to leave home for good.
Siddharth is now considered the main suspect, and a manhunt has been launched for him. A police officer stated, "We are exploring all possibilities, including Siddharth's mental health history, testimonies from neighbors, and forensic data from the crime scene."
The shocking nature of this triple murder has left the Maidangarhi community in disbelief. Authorities have committed to pursuing all leads to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident, and further investigations are ongoing.
